This case always rides on my left hip in the vertical orientation, and provides for rapid, secure removal and replacement of the phone. I forget it is there. The flip down metal leg inside the clip also makes a doable stand when needed. Love this thing – it did break after extremely heavy use, purchased another identical one. When in Japan, while looking the other way and taking a photo, a sacred deer approached and licked it’s velvety lining – so maybe an approval from beyond? Still great even if not!
