I’ve used belt-clip holsters for years (yes, I’m a grandfather) but have preferred caseless holsters. I couldn’t find one for my iPhone 13 Mini but had had good experiences with Encased so I went with the Encased holster with the Thin Armor case. With the smaller size of the 13 Mini, the additional size of the case isn’t a problem and certainly provides increased protection.
With that said, the holster is much tighter to release than the caseless holsters including Encased’s. Not that that’s a problem, just different.
But I have encountered issues with using stand format wireless chargers, e.g., “Anker Wireless Charger, PowerPort Wireless 5 Stand.” I contacted Encased and they responded quickly “sometimes the alignment of the charging area can be a bit off.” They suggested “some users insert a small foam block or the like as a little ‘booster’ for the phone so it sits a bit higher.” This seems to work but I’m not sure how dependable that will be over the long run.

I am very happy with my iPhone 13 Mini Thin Armor Case with Belt Clip Holster. Previously, I bought this type of case+holster for my iPhone 8 and iPhone 11 and have been very happy with all of them. I don’t like carrying my phone in my pocket or in my hand so a holster works well for me.
The iPhone without a case is smooth and thin and hard to hold. The case adds just enough texture to make it easier to hang onto and it’s thin enough that it doesn’t make the phone feel any thicker. The buttons on the phone all work easily through the case. It’s amazing that the case just barely comes up over the front edge of the screen, it doesn’t cover the display at all, and yet the phone is held very securely in the case. When I put the phone down on its back with the screen facing up it doesn’t wobble like it does without the case. The holster is solidly made and holds the phone securely. The clip on the holster rotates with very firm clicks, allowing the holster to be carried horizontally on your right or left side as well as vertically or anything in between. The belt clip is very strong and I never feel in danger of it coming loose. This case does not come with a screen protector, which I appreciate. I highly recommend the Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit.
I have learned that I need to remove my phone and holster from my belt before I get into the car. If I don’t the holster will catch on the seatback. Luckily, the belt clip allows it to give somewhat and even rotate slightly to keep from being pulled off my belt. The phone never comes loose from the holster when this happens.
On one of my previous holsters the clip that holds the phone broke (I’m pretty rough on them). I contacted Encased and they sent me a free replacement under warranty. I have been very pleased with the cases, the holsters, and the customer service from Encased.

The case & holster work as intended, however, the belt-clip should be shortened so that the top portion of the clip doesn’t stick up so high above the belt-line. This is terribly uncomfortable. I sanded it down and made the curvature more round to reduce this issue.
