I had Encased’s Rebel case for my Google Pixel 5 and loved it. It kept my phone absolutely immaculate. I decided to go with another Encased phone case for my Pixel 8 Pro, but there weren’t any Rebel-like cases for it. I decided to give the Falcon a go.
It is one piece tough rubber or plastic that you pop your phone into and there is also the glass screen protector that comes with it. The screen protector is sensitive. My phone responds with every input. The buttons are low profile, so I have to look at my buttons because I haven’t formed the muscle memory to the case yet, but I like them. The stand on the back is…well, it’s there. I was happy there was a built in stand in the back of the case, but I’m not a huge fan of it. It’s sturdy enough, but I don’t like the tilt of my phone (too far back) when I use it side ways to watch movies. The case itself isn’t super bulky.
This case, I’d say, is worth every penny I put into it. It’s not ridiculously expensive and I feel like my phone is pretty safe. Recommend.
