I really like this belt clip holster for my phone. I’ve had Encased belt clip holsters for my two previous models of phones, and this one incorporates the same great features. I love the strong rotating belt clip, and the nice retention mechanism that means you can get your phone out with one hand. I can’t think of a better way to carry my phone, as it is so functional.
I do seem to have a problem with the design of the retention clip on this specific holster though. There appears to be a weakness in the clip casting, as I’ve have three of them break, in the same place, in just over a year. (It breaks right around the encased logo by the pivot pin, as the plastic seems to be thinnest there.) On previous Encased holsters, this clip never broke, so I am bit disappointed. There is a free replacement warranty, but you only get a single replacement for your first order. The belt clip holster is good enough that I’ll buy another, but I wish that they would fix the design, making this clip stronger by reinforcing the plastic around the encased logo.
